What an honor and a thrill it was to deliver the keynote speech at this year’s Maria Starke Fall Luncheon at the Tuckahoe Woman’s Club in Richmond, Virginia! The women of the Tuckahoe are beyond fantastic, spectacular hosts and an absolutely wonderful audience.

I had so much fun sharing my talk, Royal Wedding Tiaras: Sentiment & Splendor, with the women in the auditorium and everyone watching on the livestream from home. And can you believe it—they brought their tiaras along for the occasion!
You can view a short clip of my presentation from the luncheon in the video above.
You can also enjoy this special bonus feature, Two Minutes at the Tuckahoe, featuring a conversation between me and the lovely Katy Haskell.

Richmond is also home to a world-class fine arts museum, and the ladies of the Tuckahoe surprised me with a special personal tour of some of the amazing jewelry on display, including the awe-inspiring Fabergé eggs from the collection of Lillian Thomas Pratt. What a total privilege to share in such treasures as part of my visit. Here’s a photo that I snapped of my favorite egg at the museum, the Imperial Tsarevich Egg.

We also viewed the museum’s exhibition highlighting the collaboration between Jean Schlumberger and Bunny Mellon. This is the fabulous Breath of Spring Necklace from the exhibit. If you haven’t added the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts to your travel list yet, don’t miss it!
